I'm pleased to be teaching Modified Language Arts at Barton Creek again this year. This will be my sixth year teaching at Barton Creek and I am excited to see my students again. I look forward to helping each child meet his fullest potential. I found my love of teaching after a career as a social worker in child welfare. I earned an undergraduate degree from Hardin-Simmons University and a masters degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. My husband and I have three girls, Katharyn, a graduate of UT and second year law student at SMU, Caroline, a Westlake graduate and sophomore at Clemson University, and Sarah, a senior at Westlake. I enjoy cooking, reading and gardening.
